Photo Viewing and Printing Information

You may save copies of the larger format pictures provided here by right-clicking on any one of those pictures and choosing the "Save Picture As..." option.

This website was originally designed for a video display set to a resolution of 1024x768 pixels or larger.    If your display is set to 800x600 pixels, you may want to increase the resolution at least during the time you are viewing the pictures.

All of the picture files have been compressed, but are very suitable for 4"x6" photo printing.

Although the actual picture files are often much larger in size (up to 2000x1312) than can be displayed on a normal video monitor, they have been reduced in size by your web browser to allow for better web viewing.    This process often results in grainy or distorted pictures.    Once you save an individual photo on your hard drive, you can use other software to view the photos full-size to see their actual quality.

For high quality (professional) prints, I suggest copying the files to a disk and taking them to Wolf Camera at Town Center Mall.    The Town Center Mall store has a "Frontier II" printer in their lab, which does beautiful prints from digital files on actual photographic paper.    (They use the same machine to print 35mm film pictures.)    They also have some very knowledgeable people working that have always gone out of their way to be helpful.    For this reason, I always use the Town Center location for my personal prints.

By the way, I've received no benefits for making that recommendation... I just believe that good customer service and quality work is rare nowadays, and like to give credit when I find it.
